Born in Melbourne and raised on a diet of Beatles music, Alan Jager first performed as a solo vocalist/guitarist in New Zealand and the Bahamas and has fronted bands in Canada, New Zealand and Australia. He started playing John in the Beatles tribute band, Where's Ringo? back in 2002.
He is an ex-Coodabeen Champion on Radio 3RRR, a graduate of the National Theatre Drama School and performed as the Prince of Wales in the multi award-winning Nova Theatre production of The Scarlet Pimpernel in 2003 and as Sir Edward Ramsay in The King & I in 2008. In August 2005 he helped out Sydney-based Beatles tribute band The Beatnix, filling in for a sick "John" during their Victorian tour and performed with Rubber Soul in 2007 on ABC radio.
Mark Godfrey hails from Nottingham, England, and has been playing guitar and bass for over 20 years in various projects across Australia and the UK.
“I specialise in not staying current” he says as his tastes drift between classic 70s melodic rock, 80s new wave, 90s hard rock and then all the way back to The Beatles where it all began for him. Joining Beatles & Beyond represents somewhat of a homecoming for Mark.
Mark Langley on Hofner bass and vocals is a Beatles aficionado and plays Paul's bass lines passionately and note perfect.
Brian (Briby) King, from Sydney, has also played professionally since the 1970s, around Australia and overseas. He has backed many artists and brings a dynamic and finishing touch to the John Lennon Show on keyboards and vocals.
Grant (Mister Dee) Cleland, originally from New Zealand, blows audiences away with faithful renditions of the drumming on the Beatles and John's solo songs.
Terry Noone on saxophone and percussion completes a fully professional lineup.
